Thursday 12 June was the first ever Morison Global Day – a day for the Association to celebrate its values in action and to share some of the Impact Initiatives our members are delivering to create positive social, environmental, or economic change in their local communities.

Forest School Restoration at Horsenden Farm – a major milestone thanks to Morison Global and its members
The Global Office team were delighted to welcome volunteer members from Nyman Libson Paul & Ormerod Rutter last week to join them in celebrating Morison Global day by participating in a conservation project at Horsenden Farm, Northwest London. One of the most significant recent improvements at Horsenden Farm has been the restoration of the Forest School, used by local children, many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of the team, there is now a fully constructed covered learning area - a vital step in bringing the space back to life.
The biggest challenge was clearing the site and wood chipping the area to make it safe and usable. What could have taken days was completed in just one – an incredible achievement by our Morison Global volunteers. Horsenden Farm are now able to announce that the Forest School will be ready to open in time for the summer holidays. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved – their hard work has made a real difference!
Below are some of the many member Impact Initiatives from around the world:
Hayes Knight, Australia: Supporting “School for Life Foundation”
Hayes Knight has been involved with the School for Life Foundation for around 6 years, supporting their work to educate poverty out of existence in Uganda. Recognising that education is the most powerful lever to create systemic change, Hayes Knight sponsored the Foundation’s annual gala ball which raised over $3.1 million, a major contribution towards campus operating costs in Uganda.
Zitnitski Weinstein & Co, Israel: Social Responsibility – a Core Part of Firm Culture
At Zitnitski Weinstein & Co. Certified Public Accountants, social responsibility isn’t a one-day effort – it is a core part of their organisational culture all year round.
On the week leading up to Morison Global Day, their senior team participated in a fundraising concert held by Israeli Friends of Magen David Adom (IFMDA), to mark 95 years of his lifesaving work in Israel.
Additionally, the firm is hosting a U.S. intern through the Israel Growth Track (IGT) program, part of Birthright Israel Onward, promoting cross-cultural understanding and familiarity with the local Israeli culture. They also collaborate with Ogen to provide mentoring and strategic consulting to NGO's leaders across Israel.
The Fortus Foundation: Making Every Penny Count
The Fortus Foundation, founded by UK member Fortus, is the realisation of a bold vision: a charitable Foundation that’s not only funded and operated differently, but one that delivers meaningful, measurable impact where it’s needed most. Focused on supporting small but powerful charities, community groups, and non-profits that often go unseen, the Foundation ensures every donation makes a real difference and welcomes funding applications from organisations and initiatives that create lasting change.
By collaborating with businesses, individuals, and organisations, the Fortus Foundation tackles key challenges like education, employment, and social inequality. Their approach is practical, sustainable, and people-focused – helping communities not just to cope, but to thrive.
They invite local businesses to join the Foundation by pledging just 1% of annual profits. With Fortus covering all operational costs and making its own 1% commitment, supporters of the Foundation can be confident that 100% of a donation goes directly to the front lines of change.
Fineac Treuhand, Switzerland: Supporting the Special Olympics
In May 2026, the Special Olympics National Summer Games will be held in Zug. Around 2,000 athletes will be expected to compete in 16 different sports. This is the largest sports event in Switzerland for people with intellectual disabilities and a huge highlight for the athletes. The event is dedicated to inclusion, sports, and fairness. Fineac will provide accounting services and tax advice to the organisers free of charge. In addition, Fineac will further support this event by encouraging their employees to volunteer.
Ormerod Rutter, UK: 40 Years of Giving Back
To commemorate Ormerod Rutter’s 40th anniversary in 2024, the firm pledged to support 40 local sports teams, organisations, and projects as well as participation in sporting events, fundraising campaigns, and collections for foodbanks.
As one of the largest employers in the area, Ormerod Rutter recognises the importance of supporting the local community and the people that have helped them get where they are today.
Nyman Libson Paul, UK: Dedicated Charity Days and Themed Roundtables
Nyman Libson Paul’s employees are dedicated to giving back - with fundraising efforts including bake sales to support Breast Cancer and Mental Health and regular themed roundtables to encourage enriching discussions on the importance of representation, inclusivity and how to continue to create a supportive workplace.
To maximise their impact, Nyman Libson Paul will select one primary charity to support each year to ensure efforts are as effective and meaningful as possible and unite to support a cause that aligns with their values whilst bringing positive change to the wider community.
Ecofides/Interfides, Austria: Supporting Samariterbund Wien
As part of Morison Global Day, colleagues from ECOFIDES Consulting GmbH and Interfides implemented a campaign to support Samariterbund Wien who provide a warm meal to around 300 people affected by poverty. Early in the morning volunteers from the firm met in the kitchen of the Samaritan Association to prepare the meals and then travelled to the distribution point in a social market, to deliver the freshly cooked food.
For Ecofides, this is not a one-time occasion – through advisory work, Ecofides support companies to move towards future-oriented business practices. As part of their own sustainability management, they strive to make a positive impact beyond their core business.
Tal & Tanker – Supporting Colleague’s Charitable Work
At the start of the month, one of Tal & Tanker’s team organised a charity run to raise awareness and support for ALS, a neuromuscular disease, having had a close family member who has experienced this devastating disease.
The race took place at Tal & Tanker’s office in Silkeborg, where family, friends and Tal &Tanker colleagues completed as many laps as possible on a selected route - all to support the fight against ALS.
