Soluciones Empresariales - celebrating 30 years of success

This year our Honduran firm, Soluciones Empresariales celebrates its 30th anniversary. The article below shares their journey and looks at how Morison Global has played a part in its growth and success.

Thirty years with meaning

Founded in 1995 in Honduras, our firm, Soluciones Empresariales, was created to provide business solutions for companies, NGOs, international agencies, cooperatives, educational institutions, and government entities. Our multidisciplinary team has always been our strength, enabling comprehensive and innovative solutions. For three decades, we have stood beside our clients at decisive moments - helping them face challenges, embrace change, and achieve transformation

Defining our identity
From our very first steps, we saw the need to join an international association to better serve our clients. In 1999 we applied to Morison International, joining initially as an associate member, and becoming full members in 2001. This important step expanded our reach and provided our clients with the international support they needed.
Our journey within the Association has been marked by moments of great significance. In 2004 we hosted the Latin American Conference, which was a remarkable success and positioned both our firm and the country within the region. Our manager, Samuel Matute, was elected to the Board of Directors of Latin America, the regional board responsible for establishing strategies for Latin America – an important achievement for the firm. In 2015, we celebrated our 20th anniversary once again being hosts of the Morison International Latin American Conference, reaffirming our commitment to regional integration and the strengthening of the Association.

In 2016, when Morison International merged with KS International to form Morison KSI (which later became Morison Global), we embraced the change as an opportunity to grow stronger. Today, our relationship with Morison Global is stronger than ever. We are honoured to belong to and to contribute with our experience, commitment, and our long-standing vision: to be a local firm with international support.

Leadership that inspires, values that endure

At Soluciones Empresariales, leadership is characterised by empathy, emotional intelligence, resilience, and trust. True leadership inspires by example and motivates through vision. Guided by our core values - integrity, confidentiality, excellence, responsibility, and innovation - these principles have defined our organisational culture and are reflected in every project we undertake. We have also learned that every door that opens or closes has a purpose and always pushes us to grow.

In our firm, our team has found not only a place for professional development but also an environment that promotes well-being, motivation, and a positive work-life balance. This people-centred culture has been key to the firm’s growth and the retention of talent that remains with us today. Along this path, we reaffirm a guiding lesson from our origins: “If I don’t rise, no one will do it for me” - an invitation to take ownership of one’s own growth with commitment and determination.

Pioneers in working with NGOs

A key differentiator has been our leadership in the NGO sector. We have supported more than 40 international agencies and over 100 national and regional NGOs, gaining deep knowledge of their requirements and processes. This knowledge and expertise add tangible value in every audit, consultancy, and investigation we deliver, both in Honduras and in various countries in Central and South America.

As an active member of Morison Global, we reaffirm that leadership. At the forthcoming World Conference in Brazil, a global initiative focused on NGOs will be launched, and Soluciones Empresariales along with Koeleman Groep in the Netherlands, has been recognised as one of the firm leaders of this initiative – and being part of this, will be one of the greatest contributions we have made to the Morison Global community.
