On 14 November, Morison Global held its first ever Guiding Principles Awards, at the Gala Dinner of the World Conference in São Paulo.
Morison Global’s Guiding Principles are a key part of the mindset and culture of Morison – it’s what sets us apart as an Association, and informs how we implement strategy, engage with each other and maintain our position as a leading Association.

Member Driven Award
Winner: Hoek en Blok, The Netherlands
One of Morison Global’s founding firms, Hoek en Blok are always the first to forge collaborative relationships across the Association while sharing their broad expertise. From presenting at conferences, hosting podcast episodes, leading communities and conducting new member review visits, our colleagues at Hoek en Blok are enthusiastic about participating in Association activity. Most recently, they have been an integral part of both our world and European conferences and are generous with their expertise, their time and their positive energy. They embody what it means to be member- driven and we are so grateful for everything they do.

Winner: Maria Villamar, ACOFI Villamar, Guatemala
Through her dedication to creating environments where people feel supported to learn, contribute and thrive, Maria embodies the spirit of building a culture of confidence. She has led initiatives that strengthen our culture of growth and impact by creating pathways for members to learn from one other personally and professionally. With a passion for wellbeing and nurturing positive work environments, Maria has been a guest on our podcast, led two “Life in Balance” webinars and is due to contribute to the EmpowHER Collective programme next year. Maria is continually generating new ideas to support our members in Latin America and beyond. We are very grateful for her generosity of time, energy, and unwavering commitment to helping our community reach its full potential.

Globally Connected Award
Winner: Fineac Switzerland
Swiss member firm Fineac exemplify what it means to uphold a truly global mindset. Making our impact
Winner: Izabela Suchomska, Nyman Libson Paul, UK
Izabela, partner at our London based firm, Nyman Libson Paul, is an incredible asset and supporter of all aspects of Morison Global. Whether it’s representing her region on the Board, advising the EmpowHER collective on the Executive Committee, attending regional and world conferences or bringing a volunteer team to support our Morison Global Day impact initiative, Izabela steps up for Morison Global. Relationships are key to Izabela’s impact, and her outreach is comprehensive. She makes sure to share Association news and opportunities throughout her firm, takes time to visit other members on her travels and attends as many conferences as possible. We are so grateful for how Izabela champions the Association and the Global Office team.

Young Leader of the Year
Winner: Yousra Choli, Avincla, Spain
Yus supported the Global Office team in one of its key projects in 2025 – the Atlas of Business Solutions – transforming the data collected into an advanced, in-depth member’s expertise directory, all alongside her busy role at Avincla. She embraced the project with initiative and creativity, bringing a strong visual design approach to ensure the directory clearly demonstrates the depth and breadth of expertise across the Association. Her forward-thinking contribution has enabled Global Office to generate valuable insights and showcase capabilities in a meaningful and accessible way. Yus is force of nature, a joy to work with and the future looks bright with young people like her leading the way.

The CEO’s Award
Winner: Farrukh Junaidy, Junaidy Shoaib Asad, Chartered Accountants, Pakistan
Farrukh’s support for Morison Global is unwavering. He helps identify potential members and carries out new member reviews, which in turn supports our future as well as the member culture we are proud of. He is an excellent advocate for good corporate governance and contributes good ideas for improvement. In addition, Farrukh went over and above what was expected during a member visit to Pakistan earlier this year.
