Celebrating International Women’s Day 2026 – Give To Gain

6 Mar, 2026

Michelle Mead

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is Give To Gain which is an opportunity to embrace generosity, collaboration, and shared success. It recognises that when individuals, organisations, and communities give openly, opportunities expand and progress accelerates. By investing in one another, we create the conditions for women to thrive.

Today, we are proud to share insights from some of Morison Global’s fantastic female leaders, who reflect on what Give To Gain means to them.

Simone Wick, Partner at DIERKES PARTNER, Germany

One of the main topics for me is giving trust. Once, a young colleague told me she was not sure whether she could manage a task I had given her. I asked her if she trusted me. She answered yes, so I said: and I trust in you. I know you can do this. And she could. Put your trust in other women so that they can gain self-confidence and success.

Monic Ramirez, Partner at Sensiba, United States

I’ve been blessed with leaders who, early in my leadership journey, sponsored me for stretch roles and offered the flexibility I needed to keep growing during a demanding season. I try to lead the same way by giving that support forward, because that’s the beauty of giving and how the world of the generous gets larger and larger.

Normita Villaruz, Chair of Morison Global Asia Pacific, Managing Partner at Villaruz, Villaruz & Co, Philippines

As women leaders, our success is not defined by the titles we hold, but by the lives we uplift. Through scholarships, mentorship, career advancement, and sustainability advocacy, we shape a generation that will lead with competence, courage, integrity, and accountability – building not only stronger firms, but a more responsible and sustainable profession.

Sandra Ataman, Partner at McCarney Group, Canada

Since becoming actively involved at Morison Global events and conferences as both a Board Member and former Chair, I have had the privilege of meeting and building meaningful relationships with accomplished, intelligent, and professional women from around the world. Together, we have cultivated a strong global network where we support one another, share knowledge, and empower each other to succeed.

Pudmanee Beeharry, Managing Partner at Morison Mauritius

My greatest professional growth has come from giving — mentoring, sharing experience, and opening doors for others. Leading with generosity and purpose not only empowers others to rise, but also strengthens our own resilience, perspective, and impact. Strength and righteousness walk together — where there is righteousness, there is success.

Yousra Cholli, Management Control at Avincla, Spain

Women bring value in so many ways, and often our impact speaks for itself, reflected in how we support and inspire those around us. I have seen how meaningful trust can be when a woman believes in your potential and opens a door, it doesn’t only create opportunity, it reinforces the importance of doing the same for others. That’s how we keep building something important that lasts, not for us, but for the women who will come after.

Radka Prachařová, Manager of Accounting and Corporate Affairs at NSG Morison, Czech Republic

Women give so much of themselves every day, at work and at home, simply because it feels natural to us. This year, for International Women’s Day, I wish for one more thing. That we allow ourselves to give something to ourselves too. A little more kindness, appreciation and calm. Because when we are kinder to ourselves, life feels better – for us and for the people around us. I’m still learning that.

Supporting and empowering women to thrive within all aspects of their lives is a priority for Morison Global, which is why one year ago, we launched The EmpowHER Collective and we are grateful to our committee for building and driving this important new initiative. Through initiatives like EmpowHER, it allows us to further elevate the professional profile of women across the association as well as collectively gain stronger leadership, broader perspectives, and a stronger, more inclusive Association.
