International Accounting Day is all about promoting the accounting profession and recognising the invaluable contributions of accountants to businesses around the world.
To mark this day, we’d like to take the opportunity to introduce our newly appointed committee leads of the Morison Global Tax and Audit Communities.
These Tax and Audit experts will be leading and driving the development of our Morison Global Tax and Audit Communities, which are designed to strengthen collaboration across the Association through the sharing of expertise, by addressing common challenges, and pursuing cross-border opportunities. Committee leads, together with members, will contribute to conference breakout sessions and curate training topics for the Morison Academy. We will also take a strategic look at the medium and longer-term positioning of Tax and Audit as core services, to ensure our Association is proactively meeting and delivering for the changing client and market needs we are experiencing.
Our Global Tax Lead is Arno Biemans (Hoek en Blok), with Jenny Wong (Leebridge Group) as our Asia Pacific Lead, Seth Huff (Sensiba LLP) as our North America Lead and Eduardo Marroquín Pineda (MAPI Asesores Fiscales/Grupo KMC) as our Latin America Lead.
For our Audit Committee we have Lynette Lee (Morison LC) as our Asia Pacific Lead, Stelios Theophanous (Morison Patsalides) as our Europe Lead, Rossana Montalto (Montalto Asociados) as our Latin America Lead and Jamie Tarell (Kurtz Fargo LLP) as our North America Lead.
