Professional role and expertise
From the beginning of his professional career, Ignacio has been immersed in the professional service market, advising on tax, accounting, and corporate and business matters. During his early career, he served as Junior Assistant performing auditing tasks, tax assessments and consulting services for mid-sized international and local companies for the Big Tier sector in Buenos Aires.
In 1997, he started working at S&A (formerly Schipani & Asociados) as Senior Analyst and in 1999, he began leading working teams on different programs conducted by the National, Provincial and Municipal Government, encouraging support for SMEs.
In 2004, he was appointed Partner of S&A and became Morison Global’s (former Morison International) liaison partner for Argentina.
Since 2006, he has been responsible for developing the Public Sector Area where he participated as advisor not only in Public Services Entities but also in deregulated agencies and state-owned entities.
Since 2008, he has been responsible for the development and management of the area of credit tax recovery and transfers where he primarily advises multinational exporters of Agribusiness, Meatpackers, Tannery, Foods, Consumer Products and Automotive sector, among others.
At S&A, Ignacio is also responsible for the corporate communication and marketing in the firm. He is in charge of the design and development of communication strategies, brand image and press releases.
Morison Global
As a member of Morison Global, Ignacio has attended and delivered seminars and conferences on his areas of expertise, particularly in the Latin America region. He also has attended many international conferences during the last 15 years all over the world.
In 2007, he was appointed Director of the Board for the Latin America region. Among other responsibilities as board member, he encourages the process of recruiting firms in South America and undertakes best practice reviews of potential, new and existing firms. He also has represented the Latin America region in other regional conferences to enrich the relationships within regions and members (Africa and Asia).
Education and qualifications
Ignacio has a Degree in Business Administration from the University of Buenos Aires (2000) and a Masters in Business Administration – IAE – Business School of the Austral University (2007).
He is a member of the Professional Council of Economic Sciences and the Argentinian Forum of External Audit firms.
Ignacio is also a member of the Board of the Non-Profit Organization “Democracia Representativa” which develops different projects in Argentina aimed to low income households in the city of Buenos Aires. He has led for many years on different projects in education and sports.
